DRM: Digital Radio Mondiale

I have received an email from an old BBC contact who is working on DRM. I had no idea this deveopment had reached such an advanced stage. High quality digital audio for AM and FM on short wave as well as MW and VHF sounds fascinating. I would love to hear Hi Fi from across the world on SW - what a contrast to the fading and phase distortion of analogue transmissions.
